Version history for philosophical positions
Read →This section is the back of the house with the door propped open.
Most sites have a clean version and a messy version. The messy version lives in git commits and Slack threads and gets cleaned up before anyone sees it. This is the opposite of that — the thinking-out-loud, the scaffolding, the half-built thing you’re welcome to walk around in.
Nothing here is finished. That’s the point.
Some of what you’ll find:
Threads — The named through-lines that connect pages across sections. Not tags, not categories — more like recurring questions that keep showing up in different clothes.
Build log — How this site assembles itself. Four specialized processes working in parallel: one for structure, one for beauty, one for precision, one for quality. Their conversations are part of the record.
Incomplete — Pages that aren’t done and might not be. Not drafts waiting for publication — things that are productively unfinished. The stretching before the run, which might be the whole thing.
If you’re the kind of person who reads source code and liner notes, this is for you.
